Greetings! The following are the Announcements for Sunday June 11, 2023
1. We are thankful for the Lord’s clear direction in adding three new brothers to the ministry, and for the opportunity to give our prayerful support to these brothers and their spouses and families:

Bro Tom and Sis Julianne Gerber
We are deeply grateful for the Lord’s provision above all that we could ask or think (Eph. 3:20-21), for the love and prayerful support of the church, and for the counsel and labors of Elder Brothers Ben Wiegand and Kevin Ryan throughout the process.
2. Roy Spielman Sr. passed away this past week. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 - 7:00pm at the Ladd-Turkington Funeral home in Vernon. Funeral is graveside at the Ellington cemetery on Wednesday at 3:00pm.
3. Sunday School: Everyone is invited to the Sunday School Picnic which is scheduled for Saturday, June 17 at East Windsor Park.
· The park will be open from 9am-7pm with lunch being served at 12pm.
· Each family is asked to bring a side dish while the meat and dessert will be provided.
· Parents and teachers should have received a link yesterday by text to sign up to volunteer.
4. Memorandum is scheduled for June 24 with singing at 7:00, pulpit time at 7:15.
5. Final collection announcement for our Spring collection: please submit remaining donations this week.
6. The General Brotherhood Conference will be held in Morton, Illinois on Friday, August 11, 2023.

· If you cannot attend in person, a live stream of the Friday General Conference will be available to view on your personal device.
· We also plan to have the livestream available at Longview Fellowship Center for those who may wish to watch it together, whether for a short time or the full day.
7. Practice Singings to learn the new ‘Hymns of Worship’ hymnal have begun. Sis Julie and Bro Steve Lanz have agreed to coordinate this learning effort. Those of you who are on the practice group list were invited to the first ‘official’ practice singing which was held last weekend. 8. Ron Tredor has been moved to the Evergreen rehab center at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford. Please be prayerful for him as he is fully paralyzed on his right side and able to communicate only through headshakes at this point.
