Greetings! The following are the Announcements for Sunday June 18, 2023
 

1.  Thank you to all who helped and participated in the Sunday School Picnic.
 
2.  The family of Sis. Harriet Farney would like to express their thanks for the many prayers, cards, and meals, and deeds of love extended to them during the passing of their loved one and with the funeral and meal. May God bless your love and kindness.

3. We want to welcome Sis Joan Knapp back into our congregation.
 
4.  Saturday, June 24 – Spring Memorandum - singing at 7:00, pulpit time at 7:15.
 
5.  Sunday, June 25 —Adult friend discussion class will be upstairs in the Sunday school assembly at 10:15am. 

6.  Sunday, June 25 – We did receive a temporary CO and will have our first all-church potluck and singing at Longview Fellowship Center.  Potluck will begin at 5pm, with the singing immediately following.
·      Our kitchen committee is coordinating the meal and requests that every bring either meat or a side dish for 15-20. Please no bread or muffins. Dessert will be provided by kitchen committee. 

·      Note the new approach of having each family bring only one dish but with a bigger quantity.  The kitchen committee would like to test out this approach to see if there is enough food/variation for all, and will adjust for future potlucks as needed. 

7.  The Proclaim & Serve 2023 missions conference is Saturday, July 8 in Roanoke.  Learn more and register before the July 5 deadline at proclaimandserve.org.
