October 28th

October 31, 2020

Greetings! Following is the announcement from Friday October 23, 2020

1. As you have heard the number of positive Covid-19 cases in our church community is rising. It appears this is the result of an exposure a number of people had when visiting out of state just under 2 weeks ago. As a result services for Sunday October 25th and Wednesday evening October 28th will be cancelled. Holy Communion will also move to Sunday evening November 1st. This extra cautious approach will allow us to see if other cases come forward before we resume assembling together.

Additionally, we wish to point out that those who did travel from Rockville were within guidelines for interstate travel and were not ignoring any NY State or Connecticut State guidelines.

This current situation points out the procedures we have been using locally have, and continue to work and provide safety for the most vulnerable in our church family. We thank you again for everyone’s kind cooperation.

This would also be a good opportunity to advise that we keep all travel to those things that are truly necessary and as we approach the holidays that we are careful to keep gatherings small and limited so we decrease the potential for further outbreaks among us.
