Greetings!  The following are the Announcements from Wednesday October 28, 2020

1. All in-person church gatherings are cancelled for this Sunday November 1st and next Wednesday evening November 4th. Zoom only services will begin at 10:30AM and 1:00PM on Sunday and 8:00PM on Wednesday like we did together back in March. 

The procedures we have in place are excellent and have shown when we use them diligently, we can gather safely and confidently. However, at this point our church family is experiencing positive Covid-19 cases exceeding 15 individuals with some still waiting test results. 

We wish to be sensitive and careful for the overall Ellington community and want to demonstrate our willingness to be considerate of everyone. Further plans will be communicated next week anticipating that when the positive cases among our church community level out and decline we will re-convene in-person church services in compliance with state and local guidelines. 

As you may be aware there is an overall increase in our area of positive Covid cases. This is a good time to reinforce a recommendation that we scale back our personal gatherings and limit the number of people in our circles of social interactions to as few as reasonably possible. 

Brother Kevin Ryan will be doing a morning reflection on our church Vision, Purpose and Guiding Principles this Friday October 30th at 9:00AM for those of you interested.
