Greetings! The following are the Announcements from Sunday June 7, 2020

1. Brothers and Sisters, We want to let you know how thankful we are to be surrounded by you all, especially during times like we had in the past week, during the the death and funeral of our father and father-in-law. The prayers and the kindnesses that you have shown, comfort us. God bless each of you. —Brother Pat and Sister Rebecca McMann

2. Bro. John Dowd has been asked to pass along an expression of appreciation from the Nazarene brethren in Germany and Serbia for 1,000 masks sent there. They were very grateful for the love shown and will put these masks to good use to keep their flocks safe.

3. Bro. Brent, Bro. Tom and Bro. Jon are having a church reopening and Covid 19 update at 7 PM tonight.

4. Brother Kevin will be distributing a statement drafted by the Elder Committee regarding the recent killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis and the subsequent nationwide response with today’s Email. He would ask that we all quietly and prayerfully consider the document and scriptures noted within.

Reminder: Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on June 8th at the Ellington Senior Center at 8:30 AM to 6 PM.

Reminder: Please check to ensure you have paid your Silver Lining subscription. Of the approximately 180 on the list only 16 of us have paid the $18 annual subscription. Checks can be made out to Apostolic Christian Church of Ellington and mailed to Brother Doug Schneider. Please mark Silver Lining in the memo section of the check.

We will be changing classes for our Sunday school children in June. We welcome any child who will be 4 years of age by December 31, 2020 into our preschool class.
