Greetings! The following are the Announcements for Sunday January 15, 2023

1.  Melvin Gerber passed away Sunday morning. We want to express our love and support to Sis Millie, as well as the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The funeral is planned for Wednesday, January 18th at 1pm with calling hours before from 11am to 1pm. Both will be held at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon funeral home on Rt 83 in Vernon.

2. The lunch serving list for the next twelve months has been posted.  Please take note of when you are serving, and please find a replacement if you cannot serve on the date listed. Also if you want to be added or removed from the list, please inform Sis. Jayme Luginbuhl by the end of January. 

3. Our 2023 Annual Meeting is scheduled for next Sunday evening, January 22 at 7pm here at church.

a.   We will be balloting next Sunday afternoon, after the afternoon service, and finalizing the vote count immediately after collecting the ballots.  We will not have ballots available that evening.  

b.  If you are unable to attend on Sunday afternoon, you can obtain an absentee ballot from our secretary, Sis Mary-Ann Gerber.  All absentee ballots must be returned to Sis Mary-Ann by 2pm on Sunday, January 22.   

c. The trustees provided an overview of two proposed projects requiring membership approval. These will be included on the annual meeting ballot, along with a proposal to update the trustees spending authority threshold. If you have questions, please contact Bro Phil Bahler or Bro Andrew Luginbuhl. 

d. Our annual meeting ballot will also include a question asking whether you support moving forward with the Hymns of Zion on Wednesday evenings.
