Greetings! The following are the Announcements for Sunday August 7, 2022

1. The proposal for the Sunday School sound system was approved Sunday afternoon after church. 

2. For those using the dial-in service, please reach out to the sound committee to help you transition over to AC Central over the next few weeks. 

3.  Update on Men's groups:  Two years ago we formed a number of Men's Groups for the purpose of promoting healthy relationships and discussions pertaining to living as men in today's world.  There has been very good participation and good feedback about going forward with new groups.

We are asking everyone interested in participating going forward to sign up through this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5YLVMQB, also posted on the bulletin board, so we can form new groups starting in the fall.  This sign-up would be for both previous and new participants and should be done by August 21.  If you sign up you will also be able to request a preferred time of day for those who have had scheduling issues in the past.   

4.  Also, on Tuesday August 30, there will be an all men's meeting on "Loving our wives as Christ loved the church,” with both a teaching and discussion sessions. This will be held in the SS assembly at 7pm.  Alll men are invited and encouraged to attend. 

5. Our collection for HarvestCall, Gateway Woods, and a few other needs continues through the end of August.

6.  Harvest Call plans to meet this week on Thursday at Jon and Angie's Barn from 9-12 am to work on quilts for Sober Solutions Recovery House. All ages and skill levels are welcome. An email has been sent with a link to sign up. If you are interested in being added to the list to help with these kind of projects, please see Carla Lanz.
