Greetings! The following are the Announcements from Sunday April 25, 2021

1. The trustees would like to thank everyone who helped with the spring cleaning inside and outside of church. All the help is greatly appreciated for maintaining the church. 

2. Kitchen committee announcement: Going forward there will be an online sign up to waitress for church lunches. The link will be in the church email (and at some point on our website) for those who would like to sign up to waitress. https://rsvp.church/r/2wywEU1h

3. Reminder that the calling hours for Bill Zahner will be on Tuesday, April 27, here at church at 9:30, followed by the funeral at 10:30. 

4. We mentioned on Wednesday night the passing of Robert Townsend, father of Jessica Bahler (married to Kurt Bahler), and Tanya Hoffman (married to Daniel Hoffman). Calling hours will be this Friday April 30th at Ladd-Turkington in Vernon from 4 to 6 PM. We want to again express our support to Jess and Kurt, Tanya and Daniel, and their family circle.

5. Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month so we will have our adult Bible class at 9 am. 

6. Also next Sunday, May 2nd, all are invited to a reception for Bro Rob and Sis Leah Bahler which take place after church outside on the grassy area from 2:00-3:30pm. In addition a singing will be held at 6:30 pm that evening out on the grassy area. If you plan to attend the singing, please bring a chair and a hymns of Zion hymnal.

7. Plans for May 8/9th: The ordination service is planned for Sunday afternoon in place of our normal afternoon service. (Sunday school will be cancelled). If the weather permits, the afternoon service will be outside without a sign-up, otherwise it will be inside. Plans for Saturday evening May 8 are TBD. We will confirm the final plans and any needed sign-ups on Wednesday evening, May 5.
