Greetings! The following are the Announcements for Sunday July 9, 2023

1.  OneVillage will be holding their summer food collection this coming Friday and Saturday, July 14 and 15, with drop off at the loading docks at Longview Fellowship Center. Please see the bulletin board (or an e-mail or text you may have received via the Breeze system) for more information including times, volunteer roles, and items needed.

2. Our collection to cover our operating expenses and maintenance/upgrade costs will begin today and run for the next four weeks (in place of church dues). 

·      We had delayed this from the beginning of the year, due to the Fellowship Center collection from earlier this year. 

·      Trustees have been doing more research on large projects planned for 2023 and will be providing an update in the coming weeks.

3.  Longview Fellowship Center update:

·      Thank you to all who helped enable the use of LFC for last week’s calling hours and funeral meal. We as church family and community were blessed to be able to come together in large numbers and support one another within a peaceful environment and well-functioning facility.

·      We are working on the calendar of church events for Longview Fellowship Center and expect to provide an update this month. 

·      The online reservation request process will be ready for usage for private reservation requests within a few weeks.  If you have a need to use the facility for a private event in July, please contact Sis Josie Schneider directly to share your request. 

- The various committees also plan to hold a few ‘open house’ sessions so we can learn how to operate the equipment and safely and effectively use the facility. Dates will be shared soon.



4.  Reminder – we do have some with nut allergies among us — please remember no nuts for both lunch and now also for church potlucks.
