July 19th
July 19, 2020
Greetings! The following are the Announcements from Sunday July 19, 2020
1. Due to the Corona Virus, Gateway Woods will not be having the yearly auction in Leo Indiana. This auction is by far the most significant fundraiser of the year for Gateway. Instead there will be an online auction taking place from Thursday July 30-Saturday August 1. Anyone interested in participating or learning more can follow this link https://gatewaywoods.org/get-involved/auction
or contact Bro. Jason Kloter our local Gateway Woods representative.
2. Sis. Donna Bahler and her family would like to thank everyone for the cards, visits, prayers during the time that Bro. Owen was ill and at his funeral. The outpouring of love and support was certainly overwhelming and deeply appreciated.
3. Sis. Ellen Kupferschmid would like to thank everyone for the love and support she and Brother Gene received over these past 2 or more years. She was deeply appreciative and wished everyone God’s blessings.
4. Wednesday at 7:00PM we will be sharing the 2020 Spring Memorandum with the church. This will be available on both Zoom and AC Central.
5. We plan to have a Covid-19 update from Brothers Jonathan and Brent on Sunday, July 26 at 7pm. Audio will be available on both AC Central and Zoom.
6. We are glad to be able to share with you that there is a proving / baptism planned for next weekend, July 25 and 26 in Philadelphia for our friend, Cami Wiegand. We rejoice with her and her family as we see the evidence of the Holy Spirit’s working in her life and her desire to bring forth a testimony of faith to the Church. This pandemic has changed our worship patterns and the recent surge has changed the number of people that can worship in PA. With that in mind, the Philadelphia church would ask the following.
We are asking that those attending in person, would be limited to any that have received a personal invitation – we are trying to balance the desire for a limited number of friends and family, with the ability of the local Philadelphia brethren to be able to be present.
For those who would be interested in participating remotely via GoToMeeting, if you would reach out to Bro. Ben Wiegand, he will forward you the appropriate information for both Saturday evening and Sunday morning, Lord willing.
Brother Ben and Sis. Michelle are thankful for your patience with during these times, and appreciate your thoughts and prayers as they rejoice with Cami.
