Greetings! The following are the Announcements for Sunday August 6, 2023

1.Please be prayerful for the Elder conference which is this week in Morton.

2. The General Brotherhood Conference is  will be viewable on AC Central from the Morton congregation. For those who would like to view it together, we plan to have the livestream playing in the fellowship center beginning with the singing .
 

• The morning topics run from 10:00am - 12:30pm, with the afternoon session from 2:00-4:30pm. 
• This will be an informal setting enabling you to come and go, and is open to members, converts, and any interested friends. 
• Please consider offering to provide transportation for an elderly attendee who may enjoy coming for part or all of the day. 
• A lunch will be served – if you would like to join for lunch, please sign up on the bulletin board by Wednesday night. 
• If you have any questions, please contact Bro Gene Beutel.

2. Responsibility for the Alms Fund will now be shared by Brothers Tom Bahler and Jeff Gerber. 

 3. This is the final reminder for our annual collection for operating expenses.
 
 4. The following events will be added to the church calendar:

• Topicals are planned on the following Saturday evenings at LFC (7pm): August 26, September 23, October 14 (ACCFS), and November 11
• OneVillage informational session will be on Monday August 28, also at 7pm at LFC. 
• All-church Singing/Snack on Saturday, September 2 at 7pm at LFC. 

5. Please review the attached document which outlines several recurring events that the LFC Usage Committee will be piloting starting towards the end of August. 
 ·      Initial events include: All church dinner & singing; Small Sunday Potluck; Weekly Coffee; Weekly music night. Other events are also being considered

 ·      These events will be added to the church calendar and will be posted on the bulletin board.
